Massage is for Everyone.
We believe that all humans are deserving of kindness, compassion, antiracist actions and inclusive atmospheres and that “matter is the minimum.” All are welcome at Saltwater Wellness, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, class, religion, or sexuality, and everything in between.
We are committed to furthering work for anti-racism, gender equality, ending domestic violence and modern slavery, and ensuring the sustainability of the environment so this work may continue for many centuries to come.
In addition to listening, learning, and advocating for these causes, Saltwater Wellness currently donates a portion of its income to a different local, national, or global charity each month.
Lastly, if you are in need of massage services, and can’t afford to pay the rates as listed, we are happy to discuss alternative options on an individual basis, without judgement. Generally, we try to reserve at least one session a month at a discounted rate, and will gladly discuss the option of a payment plan over time, or discounts for folks who may need more frequent sessions following an injury, surgery, or birth.
Wellness is for everyone. Thank you for prioritizing your health, and yourself. You deserve it.

This Month’s Non-Profit is the Maine Women’s Lobby
The Maine Women’s Lobby has been doing amazing work for women’s justice in Maine since 1978:
“Providing direct legislative & administrative advocacy and lobbying.
“Supporting a gender-responsive legislature. [They] conduct feminist voter engagement through the election season, provide information and collaboration to feminist legislators throughout the Legislative session, and complete an annual Legislative Report Card.
“Connect[ing] organizations for gender equity.
“Build[ing] engaged feminist leaders [by] building the knowledge, skills, and confidence for Mainers to be part of civic life through programs like Girls Day at the State House, citizen advocacy training, and civic education.
“Creat[ing] gender-responsive policy analysis for a more informed community. [They] publish periodic policy briefs as well as the biennial Policy Roadmap for Gender Equity.”
